Dewey-Humboldt “Arizona’s Country Town” is located 85 miles North of Phoenix and just East of Prescott and Prescott Valley. The town sites at an elevation of about 4,556-ft, offering 4 mild seasons. Dewey and Humboldt both offered two distinct communities, Dewey being an agricultural and ranching economy while Humboldt was based around a mining community. The two merged and became incorporated in 2004.
Dewey-Humbdolt still offers acerage, open spaces and agricultural and ranching roots. It is small town living within close proximety to larger town conviences.
Fun Fact: Humboldt had the first dialing telephone system in the region.
